Not at the same time, you can't. :p
What good is doing it all at the same time if you can't keep the call connected?;)

They both sound way too expensive for the specs involved. You should be able to find a DP 2.0ghz Powermac G5 for around $200-250 these days. An iMac G4 should not sell for over $100 imo, unless its the rare 20" model.
If you are short on cash but still want some power, look towards the higher end Powermac G4's. A DP 1.25 or 1.4ghz powermac will outperform the SP Powermac G5, and can usually be had for about $150.

focus on the eyes or some part of the face and then reposition. sometimes it comes out the way i want
I would suggest this could be the problem: when you reposition you are probably altering the distance between the lens and the subject somewhat.

Would have been there, but.... Had to do the family thing and so far, the last OS is working fine for us. It's about a 2 hour drive for me to Penn, if it were Quail Springs, I might have made the trip.
I was in Penn last weekend just to pick up 2 things. Took about 30 minutes just to get someone to scan so I could pay. So many people in there just to play with stuff with no intentions on buying, and taking up employee's time, makes me mad.
I'm waiting to hear how good the new OS really is. Is it worth buying? I'm still running 2 G4's and don't know if the upgrade will really help me.

I have an old LC 575 that I'm using for mostly playing games and some word processing, no internet, though. I'm wondering if I should upgrade from 7.5.5 to 7.6 or from 7.5.5 to 8.0. I'm probably going to pick up 32mb of RAM soon, so I'm ready for any OS to be on it.
Any thoughts?
You'll probably get different answers but my opinion would be that unless the game requires it, don't upgrade to a later system.

PS2, not PSP... and wouldnt a mini PS2 have the same size cds so that all the games that have been released to date are compatible. Although, with my experience, burnt media will usually not play in playstations, burnt cds are simply a no go, and burnt dvds are a toss up.
If you want to listen to MP3s CD or DVDs, just get a cheap dvd player, you can even get DivX DVD players, my friend got a no namer for $100 CDN... and I got a Yahama DivX DVD player for $200 CDN...

For AT&T, if you have unlimited plan and add tethering, they drop you to 4GB and it cost $45.

I worked on that clip alone for about an hour. Then I managed to pull the lower case section out a little bit to disengage it. I also used a modified popsicle stick instead of a black nylon stick  .

It takes 578mhz to do one w/u a day. Therefore that would mean an 867mhz would do 1.5 a day (accurate, thats what my PB does) and a 266mhz would do one every 2.1 days, also accurate. Someone compare my equation to their computer. All you do is take your CPU speed and divide it by 578. It *should* give you roughly the w/u you complete in one day.
First off, every work unit is different. Second did you take into account that if SETI runs in Blank screen mode it runs WUs faster? Of course not. I run a B/W G3/300 in blank screen mode and can complete a WU in 20-22 hrs. I have stated before that in Blank screen mode WUs can be crunched much faster than screensaver mode. I figure my WU times by looking at the percentage of WU completion per hour. 300MHz = roughly 5% per hour. 450/466 MHz = roughly 7.5% per hour. 1.25GHz = 16% per hour. Take your 100 and divide by the average completion per hour---100/7.5=13.33hrs.

Perhaps I need to be a tad bit clearer.Uhh
-40% of the time I go into a fresh install of windows,I cannot eject(To install mac drivers
-The option key USED to allow me to eject first before i went into windows
-I'll most probably be unable to go back to mac after installation of windows cuz of the option key being unable to work
Okay. Maybe I am too daft to fully understand you.
Can't you right click on the ODD icon in Windows Explorer?
http://www.ghacks.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/mount_iso-500x399.gif
Are both Option keys not working? Have your tried another external USB keyboard? Even a Windows keyboard will work.
And to be absolutely sure, and so I understand correctly, as this is new to me, you were able to eject any optical media inside the ODD by just pressing the OPTION key during the boot process into Windows (after you restarted the Mac and chose to boot Windows)?
If you have successfully installed the Windows drivers from the Mac OS X DVD, then you can use the Boot Camp Utility in the Task Bar to restart into Mac OS X.

Sweet...I'm sold if it does that and that's what the shops here are doing. Currently in Thailand you'd be hard pressed to find any system that's not modded. It's funny because you have to pay double to get a non modded system :D
Some of the Japanese games are a bit odd and I'd like the ability to play US titles...just wish they had something like this with the VC because I don't have any guarantee I'd be able to play some of the games as the screenshots look like all the text is in Japanese.

Hi,
Has anyone been able to force an apple store to guarantee a Lion O/S upgrade for free with the purchase of a Macbook pro now?
Just curious.
Thanks!
With this (http://www.mil.ee/im/varustus/relvapilt/fh70-vm6.jpg) perhaps?

The iMac is a better buy if you are intending to replace your keyboard and considering upgrading your monitor. The mini is good if you are happy with your current peripherals and don't need a lot of power.
I'd expect the mini to move towards the i5 and i7 processors in the next month or two. It would be best to wait until this Summer for the next OS upgrade to come out (10.7 aka Lion) otherwise you'll be looking at an OS upgrade cost to you in the future.

I modded mine just recently with the Wiinja chip, and it was worth every penny (even if it was a gift). :)
I'd be happy to answer any questions.
Isn't that the mod that lets you play downloaded roms off the internet?

I am not fluent in Perl but I do use Python at my work. I am mainly a C++ developer. I find Python easy to use and quite powerful for the things you listed. There are many 3rd party libraries that will help with most things you need to do. A SSH client called Paramiko was VERY helpful to me for logging into servers and transferring files and running commands. This site may help get you started with Python and Paramiko's SSH library.
http://jessenoller.com/2009/02/05/ssh-programming-with-paramiko-completely-different/
As for the file and string manipulations you listed, I find just doing a google search is helpful enough.
Just make sure you get a Python debugger if you go that way. I use Eclipse with Pydev. I am sure others may suggest a better debugger. It is adequate for my needs.

Like I said before, I use tiny umbrella instead of editing my host files, so I don't know what it's supposed to look like.
Tried it with Greenpois0n and it failed so I tried it with Redsnow and it worked. It's tethered, but thats no big deal as I rarely ever turn it off. But now what do I do with the host file? I deleted what I added and now it looks like this. Is this correct?
